As you design and develop your LSC-Online courses, you may find the following software and guides helpful.

Save this zip to your hard drive. Then go into Mange Course [The red toolbox] and click "Import." Navigate to the saved zip file and select it. This will import the quiz into your Assessments tool.

 

Respondus LockDown Browser™ is a customized browser that increases the security of online testing in Vista. When students use Respondus LockDown Browser to access an assessment, they are unable to print, copy, go to another URL, or access other applications. Students are locked into an assessment until it is submitted for grading.

Respondus is a powerful program for creating quizzes, surveys, and self-tests and transferring them to Vista. In addition, Respondus now offers the LockDown Browser, which adds additional security to your tests and exams.

Step 4 - Double-click on the exe file to install.

StudyMate (from Respondus) lets you create nine Flash-based activities and games using three simple templates. The Flash activities can be used with any web server or published directly to Vista CE. StudyMate will import items from MS Word files and publisher test banks, making it easy to create interesting, interactive activities from existing content. Best of all, you don’t have to know Flash programming or HTML to use StudyMate.
