Lone Star College Faculty Office Pages
Each faculty and staff member may have an online office. The purpose of these web sites is to support your Lone Star College work activities. The online Personnel Directory and the Easy Search point to faculty.lonestar.edu/username by default if you have a Faculty Office. If your office actually lives in Estrada, a page refresh is placed in the faculty.lonestar.edu/username folder that redirects the browser to the correct location.
At this time, we recommend that all new offices be created in Estrada. These will be migrated to Red Dot CMS after the Lone Star College website is migrated. A CMS, content management system, is very easy to use and more efficient than maintaining an HTML website.
How To Edit or Upload Files To faculty.lonestar.edu/username
To edit and upload files, you will need to use an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) program, such as WS_FTP, or the See FTP Setup Publish tool in Composer to manage your files. Or you will need to setup a "Site" in Dreamweaver or Frontpage.

Faculty Office Template
This Faculty Office Template will help you get started updating your Faculty/Staff Online Office. It contains an index page, and header images for each campus. You may simply want to add the new header image to your existing index file. Not for use with Estrada.
